The coffee shop at St John's in Hook is open for morning coffee, Monday to Friday between 10am and 12 noon, and on Saturdays from 10:30 to 12 noon.

On the second Tuesday of the month, at 12.00pm the Lunch Club meet in the Narthex for a two course a la carte menu. Much of the food is home made. The lunch costs £4.00. There is a raffle at the end.
